I am looking for an OEM style distributor and coil for a 71 LT1. Car is almost all original, Lots of junk out there and I don't want to spend a fortune. Any ideas?

Are you looking for an original 1112045 or 1112049 distributor or any other number from that era?

I know at one time I found a list of correct casting numbers for distributors here, but I can't seem to find it again. Its a 71 w/ an M22. Motor is original.

My book shows a 71 Z28 with manual tranny used a 1112049 distributor.

Yup, that’s the original distributor (1112049) in my 01D Z28 with an OF29 date.
