does anybody have a pic of the interior door handle linkage. had a new door skin put on but i do not think they got the linkage right. handle has to all the up to engage? thanks in advance. i will be ordering a body manual now.
Does the other handle work correctly?
You may be able to see the problem if yo roll the window all the way down and peak inside by the edge of the window.
Compare sides to see if you see anything odd about it.
(If the door panels are already off... It will be much easier to see a difference.)

yes i took door panels off compared to other side. drivers side linkage rod did not seem to be in right. changed to same as other side. works better now but still does not engage like other side. drivers side rod seems to be too long as compared to passenger side?

Maybe... Modify a bend in it, to shorten the overall length a bit?
I don’t have one on hand to tell you any more than that.
If the door skin is in the right place, the old rod should have worked.
