Curious whether they put the clear tape on for you after they did the printing. It would make sense that all you had to do is remove the backing and stick both on at the same time. It’s tricky putting the clear tape on the decal as the last step if you make it yourself.
COPO. I guess you would not want to set up where you do them for us members for a fee, especially since you do not have a color printer. Maybe some member would consider it. John.
Here is a recent post on the Supercar Forum that is interesting: https://www.yenko.net/forum/showpost.php?p=1531154&postcount=8 The second paragraph about having suffix codes is particularly interesting to me.
Interesting...I feel he may be incorrect...We had a member here that stated they knew or had the job of typing the VINS on these stickers.
I bought my blue door jamb decal several years ago for $25 from a guy that actually types the VIN and date like the factory did. He does decals for a lot of high end restorations. His name is Steve and his email is [email protected] I haven't contacted him in 8 years now so not sure if email is any good? Sorry I lost his phone number. ECS does a decent job. They actually scan your image to reproduce your door jamb decal, except it's printed and not typed.
