Got it all together. And it's a screamer! Tons of low end torque. 2500 rpm it comes on super hard all the way to 5500.

Those two guys - FatKid and Thrahser, certainly know there stuff and are always willing to share their knowledge. They talked me through a 406 build that turned out awesome.

Balanced 355. .052 quench.2 valve relief Flat tops, ported 492s,port matched eps. Holley 650. Roller rockers,26918 beehive springs. Stainless 1.94 valve.hedman 1-3/4 long tubes. 2.5" xpipe and dronemaster series 40s scavenged from my old zed.funny enough super mellow on this car. The cam was an unknown grind. Roughly a .480lift? MELLOW IDLE. Fatkid ,thrasher and billy lea amongst others. Tons of help, tremendous help, the greatest help, yuge help for sure. 19" of vacuum. In traffic it's 180°. Easily starts in 3rd gear. Will literally spin tires in 2nd off a start with a 3.23 rear diff. 16° of mechanical timing. It pulls very hard from 2000 I'd say to about 5500. Kinda noses over a bit there. Haven't pushed it past. 55oo in 2nd gear is about 80-85 mph. It does however need 91 octane at least...Mystery parts are fun lol. I have 3 cams laying around. A magnum 280,an XE268 and an XE274H h-10. And a set of 195cc ebay Chinese All you min eeyum with 2.02s I might get reworked for giggles. I wonder what's next camwise

It ended up moving out very well. 3 yrs out of that scrap combo before the lifters gave up. 104.5 in the 1/4. Rev'd to 6200 all day. 3750 lbs with me in it. Put together another scrap motor. That was a 2 bolt and .060 over. Ran the same mph. Go figure
