Early 71-74 seat track style- Help

    So i have these two different style tracks sets, as you can see the release is the same but why would the slider on the other track have a mechanism and the other doesn't. Can someone clarify and tell me which is correct for 71 and where did the other come from?

    I'm pretty certain a member here pointed out recently that 70 rails don't have the selector on the outer rail. the remaining 70 style rail may have been sur plus and continued into early 71 year models.

    If i'm not mistaken the set on the left is correct for 71.

    I thank the one on the for right is for a bench seat car an is not a set

    Some rails don't have double locks. Neither of those are 70 model from the design I remember.
