I appreciate the compliment. Thanks for taking the time to swing by. I will give you a shout when they are ready and hopefully you can find room above your engine bay for one.

After playing with the hood and straightening some of the warped lines I have decided that the cowl has a lot of deflection due its size and lack of a structural rib. We will be adding in a layer of kevlar to the layup. This will help with structural integrity through the cowl area and increase quality over the life of the hood by preventing a sag in the cowl area.

The additional layer of 5oz Kevlar will increase hood cost by approximately $50 but will be well worth it in the long run.

Sorry for the delay. The hood is ready to go just need to make the plug. I haven't ordered the necessary mold making supplies. Ran into a monetary set back that hopefully will be overcome in the next couple weeks. I will let you all know when they are ready to go.

I still have the hood sitting at the house ready to go. I had to suspend the project due to a lack of funds to move forward. I am ready to make hoods and could have them ready to go in as little as 2 weeks for standard fiberglass.

I know there are at least a good handful of people wanting a hood. I hate to hold out on y'all and risk losing your business but I don't want to take any pre-orders and not have a good date for you. I am 90% confident on a 2 week delay from the time I cast the first hood but I don't even know when I will be back in Ga.

Waiting its turn to suck up money from the business.

I have not been able to yet order the necessary supplies to produce the first batch of hoods. The entire process is in limbo until I can get supplies ordered. I screwed up and also had some personal things happen and I am a good 6 months behind where I had anticipated being right now.

    Sorry for the delays.
