I really can't remember which buyer I bought these from on eBay, but I thought I would share. These are generic see-thru plugs. I couldn't figure out why the primary plug went missing (talk about a fire hazard ). I went to remove the secondary plug and this is what I found. I dug the rest of the primary plug out of the fuel bowl

Yep. Got mine from Mr Gasket and they started looking cloudy. Went to change them and they would NOT unscrew. I took them out with a drill! never again.

Those clear sights are not designed to be left in. They are simply a tool to be installed, set the float level, then put the metal ones back in.

Well, that's some good advice. - I too had to take apart a perfectly good carb to fish the broken plastic piece out of the fuel bowl before putting the screw back in.

Wow. I see I'm not the first one to have this issue. At least I'm in excellent company.

Those are ... you guys get what you pay for. Get the good stuff the first time out and you won't have issues like half of you do lol. I've had those on my BG and a Holley I had and they were flawless.
