the guy who responded called himself frank r parts geek llc. parts geek says theyve never heard of a frank. dougd im really curious if they or he responds. had to laugh, my little note to myself is no one anymore without a 100 percent rating, unless its like summit racing or anyone on that line. ebay responds real fast with a phone call, that is cool., that chat deal once i got it figured out works allright. its one of those, dont call us now we'll call you. wasnt there a song like that? i usually have real good luck with ebay. and theyve always stood behind issues. so i wont give no negatives there. and its handy, real handy. they just need to figure out a way to weed out some bad apples. be hard to figure that one out.
So did ebay say the are going to reimburse you for the item? Sounded like they resolved it but it wasn't clear.

ebay makes it hard to talk to a human but once you figure out their system it's no too bad to get through. They don't always speak good English but they always have resolved my problems quickly. The rating system is a joke however, 100% positive isn't always the truth. I rarely give negative feedback but when I do I have a legitimate beef. Twice now I've left negative feedback for a high volume seller (one sold me a counterfeit coin, my other expensive hobby) and the sellers were able to get my feedback deleted even though both had clearly wronged me, presumably because of their high sales volume. In both instances I got my money back but why have a rating system if they're just going to squelch legitimate feedback.

not yet they make you sit back for a couple of days. but in the mean time absolutley no communication from the seller. just a notice to get a return authorization for something i didnt get.

I get that the feedback thing can be a big deal, but i would say 90% of my purchases on ebay are from sellers that dont have 100% feedback. i look for 90% and above most times. All it takes is one moron to read the add incorrectly and send negative feedback. i would imagine the seller can appeal bad feedback, but i think there is a point where selling is more profitable than appealing some bad feedback.
You should never buy from anyone not even with a single negative feedback score.
So you would rather buy from someone that has been left (2) 100% feedback scores, or the person that has (1000) feedback total, but 2 negative ones? The guy that has minimal feedback scores, even though they are 100% scares me. That always screams out someone that changes user names often, like when people are selling stolen goods.
Ever read reviews on Amazon, and someone leaves a 1 star review because they didnt read the add correct, or misunderstood it was a metric pencil VS a standard pencil?

Always important to look at RECENT feedback to see how they are operating now. Last year could have been awesome, this year they don't care...
