Edelbrock 1906AVS2 with stock air cleaner?

I want to install an Edelbrock 1906AVS2 on my 1980 Z with a 350. I want to keep the stock air cleaner as well. Has anyone had success doing this? If so what adapter plate did you use? Thanks, Bill

Thanks Billbme, I appreciate it. Seriously I wish I had advice for you on fitting that stock air cleaner to the AVS2. I can tell you that I’m very pleased with the AVS2 performance right out of the box. I’ve had no issues with them at all and frankly I expected at least some kind of problems with them sitting on top of the blower as most opt for other brands of carbs on their blowers.

78carmine, that’s exactly why I wanted to get that AVS2. I have read nothing but good reviews on it. Looks like I will rebuild the Ol’ Qjet..thanks anyway
