Make sure the wizard is set to street/strip with that cam. From what I have read, race is too aggressive unless you have a really aggressive cam and compression set up.

He really needs to give it a chance to learn....it can take awhile. Looking at the learn table as it fills in helps to know where you stand.

Thanks. Any estimate on how long it takes to get it running good? 200 miles?

That's a good start. You should have a very good idea by then. Again, getting a good look at the learn table will tell you how much progress you are making as well.

He stopped by yesterday and its getting better all the time. Still whistles because he didnt replace the base gasket/spacer thing yet, but even the whistle is getting less noticeable. He likes it. it's still in the learning mode. Put a little pipe insulation around the electric fuel pump and it made it quite a bit quieter.

Okay, finally getting to this project. In tank fuel pump for me from Holley. Buddies Jeep (SBC) runs great now with the Sniper unit. EZ install too.
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sne-19-350. Should be a lot quieter than the inline pump. I have an email into Holley and will probably order directly from them as their prices are exactly the same as Summit. Brought the car out of storage and first ride the duel fuel lines leaked again https://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-220106. About a cup of fuel on the intake RPM air gap in a 2 mile drive. Just the back one leaks. Drove it home and it stopped leaking as usual. Oh well.

I’m on the fence for sniper efi or 670 street avenger. Really want the sniper but I’ve seen goods and then the issues people have had. Still interested in it. Keep us posted!

Just got my sniper up and running without the computer controlled timing. I have ordered all the adjustable rotor to completely let the computer control everything. One of, if not the best mods for my car that I have installed. Response is great, power is all the time.
