Just watched my local news and they mentioned no measurable rainfall amount predicted at all for December and January is looking the same For Socal and especially the low & high desert regions were I live . Looking at the CSUSB weather station website they show seasonal rainfall total at 3.44 inches

The only weather we're experiencing is cold Artic Temps of high 30 deg day time temps and low 20 deg temps during the night . Those cold temps are freezing the prosthetic knee joint making getting around interesting

If no predicted / measurable rainfall for December or January I wonder if we'll get any rain this winter . The colder temps though have been enough to open all (3) ski resorts in the mtns behind me though

Right now, I can't complain here .....we ve had several weeks of 60-75 degree days , with just a couple couple days of severe rain storms .

    Some rain expected .

Watched the Xmas Parade yesterday in shorts , tee and flops ......people carrying their sand chairs to sit on the beach . Looks like July .....LOL

I can recall sitting in snow drifts some years , back in the 60 's when I lived up north .

Going for a ride on my 68 Schwinn Fastback today  Just lovely outside.

Weren't the forecasters saying that El Nino would send enough rain to SoCal this winter to end your drought? Is it possible that the forecasters got it wrong........again?

You seeing 60 deg temps ??

My area has been seeing low desert temps in the mid to high 40 deg during the day and low 30 deg temps at night . The high desert temps a little colder with low 40's during the day and low to mid 20 deg temps at night

Both areas the last few days under freeze warnings

Can't complain here as of yet. It's been a very mild fall. Friday it was 63 degrees...unheard of for this time of year around here.

For the midwest, they are are saying it will be warmer than average, but that also means wetter. I'll take it because I HATE THE COLD.
