I'm Looking for an alternative to the floor mounted kick panel mounted emergency brake. I was wondering what others have done to relocate. How well does it work for you? and was it worth it?

Looked at the price of that and $450.00 - $500.00 is way more then I would want to spend on a e brake. with the possibility of it failing locked on.

Did you use the existing cables or do you not need them at all? I looked them up, but the description wasn't too clear.

I would think since it has to be mounted somewhere firm. That you would need to mount on the subframe and would require new cables, to fit the new application.

the e stop you have to mount solid to the frame and make new cables. the customer lives in newyork and puts it on with a wireless remote to avoid theft if they get the car started.
