    Thanks guys!
I am not living the dream just yet but what a huge breath of fresh air after all those years of working for someone. Today its snowing like hell in central Illinois and I am gonna go overhaul the carbs on the XS1100E. Need to get it running so I can get it sold, that bike is hopefully the beginning of a chain of 70's and 80's motorcycle restorations that will be the filler in the gaps of doing appraisal and customer car work.

This 51 has a complete Heidts front end with rack and pinion and later model GM disc brakes. Mid-90's 350 with a 700R4 trans and vintage air. Old car drives and feels good, just needs a little love and maybe a paint job. I took off some ugly aluminum wheels, installed the GM rally wheels and beefier rubber yesterday. Going to clean up the engine compartment and some wiring, detail the interior and fix some things here and there. Neat old car and I get to drive it around to get the bugs out of everything

Congrats on the new venture! That is definitely the way to, be your own boss! I set up an LLC back in October after getting laid off in August and starting work as a freelance consultant. It is still up and down but things are looking up now. I've got one job that is a 21 day rotation offshore and is scheduled to last to the end of the summer. That will take care of all my bills plus a bit extra for the rest of the year. I'm also on the short list for a job working in China that could last for up to five years. That one, if I go the distance, will easily put me into the retirement zone with no need to work again. The downside is the China job will be 8 weeks working/2 weeks off so not a lot of time at home.

Agreed. That was a pretty bad acting job in hopes of a viral video payday.
