Yeah my best run with the Vortec 355 was a [email protected] 2.0 60' pussyfooting the clutch with the drag radials. I'm hoping the slicks really help.

yea it is but it works .. there is an other one on the market called Al`s HnR
I'll guess 11.6-8 depending how hard you can launch it. Sound deadner is nice.
My Firebird weighed in at 3730lbs with me in it. It made 441rwhp (about 550 crank) and on street tires I ran a [email protected] with a horrible start. With your weight and power you will be into the 11's easily because of your slicks. I imagine you will trap somewhere around 119mph or so as long as you can launch well and shift quick.
I'm quite sure that if I had your T56/4.11 gears I would run north of 120mph if I was able to put the power down the entire length of the 1/4 mile. My best guess for you with a good launch is [email protected]

The trans/launch/shifting will keep you out of the 11's.
Consistant 1.6x 60' times or better and good shifts you'll have mid 11's all day long.

That's what I'm worried about. The shifting is a not a problem...that T56 really bangs them quick with my shortened Pro5.0, but I never got a good launch with the DR's. I've heard contradicting opinions on a "stiff sidewall" bias slick with a stick.hhott71 said:

even Micky Thompson says DR`s and sticks don't mix well, tho I have heard of guys making them work

12.30's if you can get it to hook. Drag radials dont work well with stick. New Pro's are a touch better with a stick but still not the preferred tire for a stick.
DR's and a stick are a recipe for inconsistent launches...
I'm still looking for 17" wrinkle-wall slicks... otherwise my tires are useless.
and they hate because, WTH.. once they break.. might just as well do a screamin' burnout...lol
