Hey guys ordered some SpinTech 9000 mufflers to replace the flowmaster 40s I have system now is straight pipe and I was planning going X pipe and making sure I’m making the right decision? 1970 RS Z/28 not the LT1 350 has a 396 big block M22 4 speed 12 bolt 3.73 rear ended , the straight pipe now can be a little poppy at rev I’ve read X pipe will help , 2-1/2” exhaust

I went from straight to a X pipe, made a lot of difference, lot smoother and more balanced sound.

great that’s what I’m After plus the SpinTech mufflers tuck up well and my car sits lower than stock so everything should work out
