Did some wiring on the car today. See my Painless thread. Also working on my gauges this week.

Pic of my oil gauge to go where the clock was. Back in the day my old man had put in a oil gauge in there anyways, but it looked cheesy. This will look way better.

I also went to hobby lobby and got some flouresent red model paint. Touched up my faded needles and warning sections with it. Did not take pics, I will be sure to for reassembly.

So on the NPD dash, when you were assembling it(not in the car yet) any hiccups? Everything move over from the old to new without mods?

Also now that its in, any mods to get it installed and fitted in the car correctly?

I may need a new one myself, so curious on any issues you may have had.

When I transferred everything over, I had no issues. That went really smooth. The ONLY install issues I had, and they are known for this batch is, the screws that hold the dash in above the cluster DO NOT line up well, the next available batch is supposed to be fixed. The other issue I have is with the snap in clips on the passenger side. The Long clip that goes next to the cluster...did not snap in...was not long enough. I am guessing it was more attributed to the miss shaped front edge of the dash. Overall I am pleased with it. My dash was in HORRENDOUS shape and this one looks great, and it is solid once I got all the bolts in it.
