Yea the steelies that have been on my Z were never true. Two of the have been bent pretty good. The old man fessed up to one of him when he had a crazy night. I believe the other one was from me LOL

Naw, he is getting too old to sit in cars that low. He would rather just see me drive it and enjoy it like he did all those years lol. He bought his first SUV ever this year because he got tired of climbing in and out of cars. Says his back cant take it! I'm glad his body shop is doing the work though. I don't know if I could trust someone I don't know to do this extensive of a repair.

Quarter panel time!

Bought crapped myself when I saw this picture for the first time. Something about seeing your car with this much metal missing is a tad scary the first time

Yea, the hours have been adding up since I am paying a professional to do it lol. But it is worth it. The extensive back half repair is way out of my league and I would rather have it done right. At least its cost and not full price tho!

I cant blame ya for the low cars. I hope to enjoy them for as long as I can!

I don't know how stupid of a question this is but, With all the work done on sheet metal installation, body work and paint ( I would think your fathers shop is going to paint it also ) How much in total do you think you saved? Or if your fathers shop did this for someone he didn't know, what would the bill look like? I'm just wondering.. Thanks, also your car looks awesome so far!

Well I have bought all the parts, I just pay cost on labor and I still have to buy the paint. Its getting close to pushing 400 labor hours, so multiply that by $50-$60 vs the $15-$20 I am paying. Quite the difference, Still adds up, we originally thought it was only going to take in the 150 labor hours or so, but.......you can see it takes longer
