Decided to go through the motor while the subframe was out...

Ready for the machine shop to pick up and go through....Did not get good news from them. But, that's also good because I do not want to deal with a motor crappin out after shes all back together...

Looking like a car again...test fitting front clip and hood....boy this is a nice sight! This just happened a couple a weeks ago

Here is the original color I was going to paint it off a car I saw at a show this summer....


Funny story though, the paint guy delivered a 2015 paint book in December when my father was trying to get the correct color mixed at the paint store since it wont mix with his water borne system. Well he was flipping through and saw this one color that popped out at him called "Blue My Mind". He showed it to me, and between me, my brother and my dad we decided that will be the new color. Part because it looks so damn good. And partly because if I need touch up it will be easier to get one of todays colors mixed and blended...


Oh by the way, the new color is called "Laguna Blue" when it is on this car....

Damn, that work is going pretty quick. After seeing this project I wish I kept my 77 and 78 Z28's.

Its not that quick, its been 7 or 8 months of work....I just slacked off and never posted pics as I got them....Just now finally got myself to!

I do think that blue will look amazing.
