Read your whole thread - Wow your almost there. Lots of info and tips in this for those starting out like me.

I think I have the same aftermarket headers, Carb, valve covers, shifter and radio as you - go figure.

Waiting for my 'unassembled' door panels - hoping I can make that work as well as yours.

Stick with it - your son, (and maybe grandkids  some day) will love it.

Kinder sitting back right now.Weather is getting colder around here.Still undecided weather to paint myself or have it painted. Its kinder hard to find someone around here here to just shoot it.They dont want to put there name on anything that they dont do the body and prep work.Even if I say I wont mention any names and take all the responsibility for the prep work.Plus Deer season is here and Ive been busy processing them.Thats how I fund this project. So I guess im going to spend the winter getting everything ready for paint.

Well its been a long winter.Just like its been for everybody else!Deer season was good I made some money processing them for the local hunters. So Im getting itchy to get back at the camaro.Been in contact with Wookie hes going to coach me thru getting this painted. And I am going to paint it in pieces.I know that is a touchy subject around here. But from what Im learning it can be done.If It doesn't then start over and have it painted.Heading to Cape Coral Fal. next week that shoud be nice.
