Finally installed the Boregseon steering box

    Can you install the Borgeson's shim kit on a factory GM setup to reduce the pressure? My 70 is super twitchy and I would love to dial that back.

    I put their shim kit in my factory pump.

    Much better. It felt "over-boosted" at low speeds.

    My old AGR box had a some amount of steering effort at lower speeds which I liked, so I wanted to match that. It's perfect now.

    How many Shims did you use?

    Three if I recall correctly. Basically just went one at a time until I got it to where I wanted it. I went up to four and didn't like it, so then backed off by one.
