Relax everybody... it's off the blocks... http://img162.imageshack.us/img162/7703/offblocks7vt.jpg
Tim, What brand, color, part # paint did you use on your rally wheels.......do you have correct trim rings and metal or plastic centers........
Wish my garage was that size.
Just what I have been wanting to see. My 70z's original color is 45 Mist Geen and was repainted Cranberry Red from previous owner. I have been searching for pictures of a car painted that color to see if I want to go back with the original color in my restoration. That is a very rare color evidently or else most have changed color over the years. I will be going back to that color - looks great and I'm sure even better in person. Who's paint did you use?
put it back to original... thats what I would do
Chuck- I don't know how much if any of this is correct but here is what I have... the paint I used on the wheels is from a company called "Details", part # R120, called Rally and SS Wheel Paint, color name Argent Silver. The centers are all metal with part # 3984554 stamped on them, the wheel bezels are all metal (Stainless?) but no part number I can find on them... 6 per wheel, the trim rings were purchased new from Classic Muscle of Winston-Salem, NC in their catalog part # 770GM for a 14x7 wheel.
John- the paint used was Limco brand Acrylic Enamel Basecoat, GM45, their part #WA4025 Seamist Green Metallic
Mark- size of the garage is relevant to the size of male anatomy... never big enough! I have 3 cars now in a 2 bay garage and I'm seriously considering buying a '71 Chevy Stepside and/or a '67 Firebird Convertible... sometimes smaller is better because it keeps your ambitions realistic.
nice to see a beautiful 70 camaro coming back to life....
making progress... installed PB, installed dual exhaust kit, under hood clean up, trunk detail, headlights, ft bumpers, spoiler, etc. etc, ... dreaded dash pad replacement yet to go... http://img89.imageshack.us/img89/169/closer0044yx.jpg
she looking really good!!!!....mine not to far behind yours!
Your car looks great. Is that a Gardner exhaust or just correct looking tips.
