I see from the pictures you have some lovely little darlings in the neighborhood. After you mow, set up a fenced area and put a dog house in it. Stake a heavy chain, about 3/8 inch links to a stake outside. Use the chain to mark a boundary in an arc around the dog house. Now spray the ground with a soil sterilizer so it will kill all the grass. Now run the chain into the dog house like the dog just went in. When a little darling comes around looking to maybe pry the window open for a 5 finger discount, they'll see the chain and think twice. Every now and then move it around or run the chain to the building and leave it unhooked like the dog is inside. I've got a friend who had a LOT of trouble with theft but that stopped it really quick. Every now and then, he'd have his German Shepherd hooked up so a dog would be seen at times. The girl would like you to death but looked like she would rip your arm off for a snack.

Thx guys. It has a 200'x50' chain link fence with 18' gate and barbed wire around the top around the roll up doors. To get to the car for shady business would be a PITA (I hope). I'm going to take the wheels off and put it on cribs or jackstands until everything is finished. I'm hoping 7-9 months.

This was part of a approx 6 acre parcel that was separate on the tax rolls. Even the listing agent didn't realize this. I made a crazy lowball offer on just this corner parcel and they surprisingly accepted the next day. It took overy 9 months for the rear property to close and ours was contingent upon that.

Just having somewhere to store materials ad store my car is going to be huuuuge. My car is covered up but exposed to the elements and a major PITA to work on. It's going to be super nice being able to have a shop and leave the hood and doors open so I can do projects when I have time.

MrDragster..I'm going to keep an eye on university/state auctions for shelving. There are quite a bit in there now but you can't have too much.

You're all welcome to store your cars there, just leave me the keys...hehe

    Not snakes. Just no.

    .

I just love saving floor space.
Like I said, so many guys waste air space.
We pay for the whole shop, use it.
Anything I can do to fit more cars the better!!!!!

Just a tip, if you have access to free pallets, they are awesome for quick cheap shelves.
2x4 or 2x6 frame, and set the pallets on top.
Strong as frick, easy to build 2-3 levels high.

My neighbor built shelf's 2-3 years ago, and he used more lumber then my 1st house had???

Nice score! I'd love to pick up something like that so I had a place to work on and collect more cars!

Very nice Gordo! You will have it filled up in no time!

And LOL on the snakes comment. If he finds them there the next picture we see will be that building with 80 foot flames coming out of it!
