The front subframe mounts that attach to the toe boards and firewall are partially rotted on my 79. Reproductions don't seem to be offered by themselves, although you can get them on a complete firewall + toe board assembly ($420) that I've seen from a couple of suppliers. These front subframe mounts are reproduced for 70-73s. What are the real differences in front subframe mounts between 70-73 and 74-81? I'm wondering if I could make the 70-73 parts work on my 79...

The difference may be with how the inner fender wells attach to the mounts by the 2 brackets, if yours mounts like a 70-73 I don't see why they wouldn't work. I replaced the ones on my 72 if you have any questions. If you look in the parts catalogs they may show this like #40 on the attached pic.

I got mine from ebay. They were cut from another car, so I had to separate the cowl section and inner kick panel. The seller still has more listed. PM sent.
