i got full length goodmark floor(not complete floor just sides) used what i needed and had to fab up the rest of toe for drive side.were cross brace is by seat area i split the difference so underneath the seam would be hidden.i also rebuilt the inner rocker on drive side before install of pan, those are multi layered in that area boy that took some work to make right but now it's solid.from what i could tell the damage probably started when the column seal got destroyed by brake fluid which also ate the finish off the sheetmetal .being hidden under carpet and toe trimplate was just a matter time.the piece of sheetmetal in floor area was there when i got it they had 4 rivets holding it in place LOL

That's all bondo and duct tape that was used to cover the holes on the driver's side.

Is there any need for bracing if I cut out the whole floor pan on one side? Rather how much can be cut out before bracing is required? Thanks

It depends on how you are supporting the car when you cut the floor out. I'd say if you keep it supported good in the stiff areas, that you won't have a problem without bracing.

Good to know I’m not the only one who hates the “fake RS” front look.
