The Air Force did a B52 flyover this afternoon to honor the health care workers and first responders who are taking care of us during this Covid19 time.
They are flying this B52 around the State today and over the hospitals in all the larger cities.

I'm torn on the value of these flyovers...I get the point, but the AF just lost an F-22 doing a fly over that has no tangible benefits not to mention it cost uncle sam a pretty penny to operate these jets.

One of our Canadian Snowbirds crashed yesterday, killing one member. Similar flyover.

Money for the flyovers was already in the budget plus the pilots are getting flight hours that they need.
F-22 crash I thought was during routine training and wasn't part of a flyover. I may be wrong on that.
Enjoyed the Blue Angels flying over Houston last week.

They did this last week in Connecticut. Had my wife and kids outside to see it, as it flew right over our house. I went to take a similar picture to yours....but ended up as a selfie.:whine:

I got enough ugly pictures of me!!:crazy:

My house was too far away to see them flyover and I was under a state mandated self-quarantine after returning from Asia so couldn't leave the house. When they did the vintage aircraft flyover on the weekend, I was able to see those a bit better as they did fly over Cypress so that was neat seeing the B-25 fly by not too far away.

I was following their flights around the country fairly closely as I love the Snowbirds. I think they are one of the best aerobatic teams flying, always a dream to watch.

Truly unfortunate the crash and the loss of the young lady.

I've got Military flyovers daily up here in the High Desert .I'm directly under a designated Military flight path for all the Military bases up here such as Ft Irwin NTC and MCAGCC 29 Palms

I see C 17's Cargo planes , KC10 Tanker , Fighter jets , Osprey's and Helicopters . A few months ago I saw (8) Blackhawks flying in formation with infantry squads visible . They were maybe under 200 ft above the deck

Just a pair of C-130s here.

Nothing as exciting as the Blue Angels or a B-52. :(
