    Both sides are the same.

/\ What BigBlock said, as they figured you wanted one on both sides , as the cars originally came with only one,

My 1970 Chevrolet Parts Catalog (Jan. 1970) lists GM # 9814436 in Gr. 10.185 as the LEFT OUTSIDE MIRROR for the 70 Camaro. I also have a NOS 9814436 mirror dated "9-DMI-4" Sept. 1974) on the mirror glass. This 9814436 LH mirror is EXACTLY the same as the RH 994039 mirror.
My RH mirror dated June 1970 has the following casting numbers and letters: "P.T. # 9814436" and "C.B.C. CAV #2". The black gasket has "LH 9816863" and "IHA 6".
My LH mirror dated Sept. 1974 has the following casting numbers: "9814436" and "BC" inside a Chevrolet bow tie. The black gasket has "RH 9816862" and "IHA 1".
The black gaskets appear to be identical except for the number. I did NOT mix them up. I measured the thickness on both gaskets and they are the same.
