came across a 70 f100 with 3 on the tree and i6 for 1500 bucks it runs fine tags up to date, guy cold started it up quick no mechanical issue but has typical rust issues lower fender and bed floor is gone. interior is all there the truck is all original for the most part and thinking of patching the rust spots and just doing a patina theme. restore interior and paint/ restore engine bay. hes throwing in the patch panels needed for it along with a hurst 3 speed floor shifter with linkages. do you guys thing its worth the time and investment? just looking to enjoy for a bit and sell it. need some opinions here

Cool truck. Worth the price, probably not worth it if your already talking about selling it.

Those trucks have a niche following, but have nowhere near the value or parts support of the GM trucks of the same era. If you plan on selling it later I would keep my investment into it as low as possible.

I cant see how it wouldn't be worth it if the frame under it is solid.

Brings back high school memories for me to, a friend of mines dad had there 72 (I think) f100 4x4 farm truck restored and lifted and gave it to his son for his 16th birthday. Have to admit it made me a little sad when I drove past there place and saw it setting up by the highway for sale a few years ago.

My dad has a 71 F100 sitting in their driveway. It was originally two-tone blue. It's in generally decent shape but has the typical rust issues. I'd love to fix that thing up someday.....someday.
