Where do 4th Gen front seatbelts mount- up on the roof like a 2nd Gen, or on the B-pillar like most GM cars?

If on the roof- what's stopping people from using them in 2nd Gens?

No, I assumed by the way he compared them to "mounting on the roof like the 2nd gens" to mean fronts. :) If you meant rears Eric, then just ignore my post. :bowtie:

The front anchor to the roof and the rears anchor to the reel in the rear wheel housing area.

No, I meant fronts- the rear I figure must need to be custom mounted to the package tray or wheelwell (as 3_z28 mentioned) in order to take up the slack that would be there.

I was more curious as to whether or not there were any spacing differences- i.e. like the mounts for the retractor wouldn't line up or something.

I had to make slight modifications to the plastic cover on the roof so the belt would retract smoothly with out help. Do a search in the interior section Camarogirl posted some pictures a while back.
