   I bought a Frigidaire dishwasher less than two years ago and it wasn’t the top-of-the-line but I figured it would last a while longer. It does start and water comes in and it does drain but it does nothing in between. Could it be the circulation pump?

   Maybe the float switch. There is a float that lifts up when the water level gets high enough. This tells it that there is now enough water to begin the cleaning cycle.

   Striking fear and destroying the enemy

   Pull the screen grids off the bottom and remove and leftovers and ensure float goes up and down and trash is gone and screen clean.

   I had that problem with my dishwasher over a decade ago....
   It got filled and drained but nothing else seemed to happen in that sink.
   
   I decided to wash dishes myself and divorced her.
