Front to Rear Harness Routing

Does anyone happen to have any photos of the rear harness routing.
This plugs into the bulkhead connector at the fuse block, It then is routed somewhere from there to the door sill area and then into the trunk.

Appreciate any pics as it was already disassembled and in a box when I bought the car.

Don’t know if this helps. My 79 Z28. Harness is painless retrofit but I routed in the factory way. Don’t mind the white dome light wires coming back into the trunk in the first picture, it shouldn’t be there.

Perfect. Thanks a bunch, excatly what I was looking for but not hoping for.

Looks like it routes behind the kick panel which I already have installed. I am going to hope that I do not need to remove the emergency brake to completely remove the kick panle to route the cable.
Good news is that I see the rear defogger wire is routed right along it so I know that i need to snake that through as well.

Mine is a 73 with American Autowire retrofit kit. I think someone else already sent pictures it here are a few more. Yes, plugs in on the left behind the kick panel, then down along the rocker panel, then up the rear wheel well, then into the trunk.

I’m thinking behind the kick panel and over the rear wheel well there was plastic conduit to aid in wire routing and to help protect them.

You don't have to completely remove the E brake to get the kick panel out. The rearmost attachment is a nut on a stud, remove nut and then stud, then I believe you just need to loosen the two nuts by the master cylinder that hold the forward end of E brake to firewall to allow the E brake pedal to swing out a little.

Turns out getting the e-brake removed was the easy part. There were 2 or 3 of the screws that held the kick panel in place that were behind the-brake. The PITA was getting the panel removed. In the 80 there is a cable that connects to one of the air vents. To get that cable disconnected you need to remove the ducting and to do that it almost looked like I need to pull dash forward. I was not going to do that.
So I pried the kick panel away from the sheet metal pinch weld at the door enough to route the cable.
I could not see or feel where the snap in clips went so I just routed it up, behind the e-brake and to the fuse block. rest of the routing was pretty uneventful except that there was a lot of excess cable in the trunk and I cannot determine any other way to route cable to take any of that slack up. but good enough.
When I tried to put the kick panel back in place over the pinch weld at the door, I cracked it. PISSED me off.

Lesson learned, route the cables before installing kick panel. I wish I was the one that took the car apart, it would have been more apparent to me.
