I second what Da-bigguy said. Here in the Haynesville Shale area prices below $2.00 hurts the employees. Gas , 87 octane, is in the $1.78-1.85 range. I have a good many friends and relatives in the Oil biz. At least Natural Gas is holding somewhat stable. Several large mid-steam companies in the area have plants/pumping stations involved with the exporting of CNG.
In central Iowa it was 1.71 yesterday. Price gets crazy tho as both Mills Fleet Farm, Sams Club and the new chain stores of Kwik Star compete on gas prices lol
