    Have a ls will the new lt1 just swap in with the same wiring and ECU ?

    I think one way around the accessory drive/power steering issue on the new LT1 is to consider electric power steering. I'm seeing more companies offering electric steering solutions for the aftermarket industry. Unisteer and Flaming River are two of them.

    Of course, this rules out Hydro boost brakes but if someone were dropping the engine in today, and no power steering adapters were available, this could work.

    Talking direct injection and var. valve timing to start with. Major stuff there. I'd guess $25k as a bottom price for the unit. Do a lot with that kind of coin. Who needs power steering in a second gen anyway?
