Anyone had experience with genuine GM door skins? Specifically did they have a painted part number inside the skin? Any pics if so?

I bought new door skins from GM Parts Dealership back in 1985. I believe there was a part # sticker on it and where I do not remember. The same goes for the new GM qtr panels I bought at the same time.

I have some nos 67 camaro door skins and had a square body truck skin. Don't think anything is painted, only E-primer.

There are stickers inside door skins. Just did mine last year. Fit like a glove!

There’s usually a sticker, but there is one sure way. GM skins have this tab.

Thanks this is what is on two doors that I have now. They are thick gauge metal, probably skinned in the early 90’s. Pass side mirror location looks untouched.

I should check to see if there is any reminisce of a sticker somewhere because thats what I was thinking should be there.
I wonder if someone stenciled that for reference, because its grey primer so who knows what was going on.

Oh yeah the tab, I need to check that.
