The tab isn’t there on repop skins....the sharpness isn’t going to give you anything.
Not the best picture
Didn’t get a chance to look yesterday
For sharpness the reason I asked was in order "if" there would be a difference in GM or aftermarket.
Thanks for posting pic they are so much appreciated, at this point Im confirming they must be GM. The tabs, thickness, and side mirror area seems stock and untouched/modified. Someone stenciled the part number over grey primer for some reason or other. Defiantly worth saving and banging out the dents etc.
Anyone with a 75 or later able to do some measuring so we can compare there doors, skins with the ones I have?
Usually old GM stamping are not sharp...arguably reproduction panels are sharper than GM. Watch this video

He has a lot of videos
That’s a great video! I found it when researching finding nos door skins for my project!
So is the no kidding consensus?? Is the hole for the handle different or what? We need evidence....
By looking at various pictures, it appears the handle is the only difference. Here’s my 70. You can see it does over hang the opening.
Warming this thread up again. I took a look at my NOS skin and noticed not only the notch on the front edge but a code, possibly a date code, in the door handle area between the handle mounting holes
View from the inside:
I doubt repops have such a code.
