I'm a lil late to see this car, but it looks great and you did a great job on it .
Good luck and have fun in it
Thanks, it's a ton of fun!
So this is my first video I've done. Looks like rollin' coal when I shift...guess I am running a little rich! I have a tendency to rev it between shifts to keep rpms up.
Worked on the car today. I purchased a sweet 1989 Sparkomatic AM/FM Cassette with Aux input...top of the the line! Obviously, the Aux input was for the walkman CD players of the day. Now I can listen to Pandora while cruising...sweet. I found this jewel on ebay and had to have it and it's mint. I even tried an old Metallica tape and it worked.
My original '72 dash was not broken or cut-up so I couldn't image hacking it up for a modern deck...so I opted to keep it retro. I am waiting on my speakers to get here and then I will be able to jam.
I still remember my first car, a '76 Type LT...in the late eighties, it had an aftermarket 8-track in it. I remember trying to play cassettes with a 8-track adapter, it was a huge piece of junk. Eventually, I updated to something like this one...so it's good memories for me.
A guy I knew in high school - Greenville SC late 1980's - had a burgundy and black 72 Z28 auto with Z28 wheels like .... LAST name was Jackson
