I would like your guys opinions on what a fair value would be to put on this car as it sits if i decide to sell it. This is a 71 SS 350 car that is very solid. I bought this car 7 or 8 years ago out of San Diego and stuffed it in a barn with a tarp over it. It is as i bought it, i have not done anything to it as of now except removing bondo and primer in strategic places to take these pics. I pulled it out this week trying to decide if i am going to finally get it painted and finish it or just sell it as is since i have 3 or a dozen to many projects the way it is. I have most of the trim pieces, windows, moldings, grill, headlights etc for the car just not pictured. There is no plastic in the car at the moment except for the RH quarter to roof skin seam and a very very light skim on the upper RH door. The rest of the car i have removed all traces of plastic so the actual car can be judged. Front clip is all new goodmark except hood which is GM. Clip is just set in place and bolted no shims or adjustments were made which is how i purchased it. Only floor pan rust is where the drivers RH heel would rest below the accelerator pedal. Below is a list of new items on the car that i know of. It also has a complete autowire kit partially installed but it really needs to be removed and started over. Also i didnt lay out all the interior, trim and and misc pieces of the car i have for it but i can and take pics if that helps. Thanks for your input. Lots of nice parts on the car but,it's going to take lots of work and cash to finish it. I'm my opinion it's going to be hard to find a buyer who be willing to pay over 5 grand. I might be wrong, good luck to you.
^^^I agree nice car, but a BIGTIME project sitting for 7 years didn't help the motor or trans - they might leak like sieves
Yeah like others have said the "extras" aren't going to help the value any. In the end it's still a serious project and you might can get 5K for everything Your best bet is to sell off the extras that wouldn't add any additional value separately. Personally if you can paint the car and finish it you will def get your money back out of it and then some
