    they will be fine, most guys use them for snake protection... not really good for much else.

    As long as the gun doesn't have any kind of muzzle brake or compensator it will be fine. Those CCI shotshells are pretty popular for pest control. They will not cycle the action on an auto loading firearm though, not your concern with a revolver.

    BTW I picked up a 44 Mag last week too ;)

    Yep, I bought this used last week. I'm still deciding on a barrel for the Encore frame I bought a month ago.

    SON OF A B....... I looked through 3 big boxes of brass that I have and I only found ONE! single piece of 44 Mag brass. I can't believe I don't have any. Looks like I will have to, gulp, buy some.

    Well.... It IS a single shot. ;)

    Having fired both a Thompson Contender and a Desert Eagle in .44 Mag....... I much prefer the Desert Eagle.

    The Contender hammered my wrist too much to be fun for more than a few rounds.

    Definitely, I actually went tonight with the 45 and the 10 mm.

    BTW I just won 150 pcs of 44mag brass on gunbroker for $13 :D
