I'm replacing trunk floor, drop offs, outer wheel houses and quarters on my 74. I am prepared to plug weld everything but am pondering the 220V HF spot welder that would reach about half of the locations. I believe I can use it for drop offs to trunk floor (probably easier than trying to plug weld in that confined area), drop offs to quarter, maybe wheel house to quarter, and lastly the quarter to body door jamb pinch & window channel/trunk gutter pinch area. For $160 its affordable but don't want weak welds. I realize prep is key and reviews on HF are solid but know those can be skewed. Anybody have feedback on the 220v unit?
