My kid got head lice from a classmate who went to Mexico, and we played hell trying to get rid of them. We are normally clean-freaks, and we cleaned and washed everything, and it still took a while to kill them. Get Nit and don't believe the stupid misinformation on the internet. My wife was washing my kid's hair with everything from Listerine to orange Oil, and nothing worked like Nit. It was the worst kind of hell I wouldn't wish on anybody.

If I were the judge I would ask your ex if she isn't certain he got it at her house?

Then get on her ass and tell her to work with you to resolve the problem.

If both homes aren't treated the same, you will never get rid of it...

The couch chairs etc can harbor lice too. Steam cleaning may help.
Spend the $$ for a ro to do the work.
The court will recognize you are trying everything.
But you can't help it if the they kids swap hats with the Licy Kids.
Are they in Baseball etc where they share head gear?

If she does drag you to court, make sure you have receipts/records for everything you have done to solve the lice issue.
