Headlight plugs / pins Where to find?

80 camaro. The pins in the headlight plugs are just flat worn out. I have looked into doing the relays to change to HID, but I think I will wait till winter to make the upgrade.

Anyone know where to find new pins / plugs? I know the pins just snap out, but again the plugs are weak as well and I just don't get good connections. Lights sometimes drop out when driving. Wiggle the plug and there back on. All grounds are good, just bad pins.

Or if someone has an old harness laying around that they will cut off a few inches of wire I would buy that also.

None of those terminals in those links are any good. You need the actual Delphi 59-series terminals and Delphi 3-cavity connectors. I stock them-PM me if you want OEM style stuff-$12 shipped will cover it.

Oreilly Auto stores have them. I'd guess any local auto parts store in your area would have them too.
When you need auto parts, it is always good to look at auto parts stores for the parts.

Parts stores will have the Chinese made Dorman/HELP pigtails.....they work in a pinch but are crappy quality. They don't have nor can get 59-series terminals and they don't stock/can't order OEM type Delphi stuff. But the Chinese ones will work if it's just a driver.

To my knowledge, specific electrical connectors for older stuff is still made in the US and UK but various safety features, steering and hydraulic brake components are made in China among other countries as part of the Delphi "diversification" portfolio involving many different LLC entities beginning around 2006. Delphi is still embattled with GM involving a lawsuit over the Cobalt ignition switches....hmm...isn't it strange that as more and more parts are made overseas we see (or it seems anyway) more defective parts under warranty...? lol
