Headlights flash with signal

    Put new harness in thinking that was the issue due to some monkey wiring i found.... same issue as before i put my left signal on and headlights flash with signal... if i put high beams on with signal still on left the rear left signal stays lit....any ideas???

    When you say the headlight flashes, it is probably going bright/dim with the flasher due to a poor or disconnected ground to one of the signals. Also, pull the signal bulbs out and look really closely at the filaments to see if one of the dual filaments has sagged and is touching the other. That can cause some kooky behaviour.

    That us usually caused by a bad ground to either the headlights or the signal light. Start with a wiring diagram for your year car and locate any grounds for the lights and make sure they are solid.

    What year model? I know the ground circuits changed in the late 2nd Gens. Most all the lighting on the front were grounded straight to sheetmetal up front.
