my blower motor has quit working and was looking into installing new one. Any tips on install and what brand would be best. non ac car
I believe you’re right on that but the ac motors commonly do have that hole. But as they generally have more power than non ac motors we commonly replaced the non ac motors with ac motors on GMs as they usually fit. Just wrap tape around the motor to cover that vent relief hole.I don't believe you will find a rubber cooling tube or hole on a non-A/C motor. That cooling hose is for cooling in the Summer when the A/C is running to prevent the motor overheating in hot weather. A non-A/C system won't be used in hot weather so cooling isn't an issue.
I have a working blower and squirrel cage from a 71 Z non A/C car I may not be using...my blower motor has quit working and was looking into installing new one. Any tips on install and what brand would be best. non ac car
