Help needed .How to mount deck

    Hi everyone
    How do I mount my single din pioneer stereo,I can not find a mounting kit.It must have been modded in the past because its just an opening not for a knob type .Thanks

    Finally back home!!!
    There is no mounting kit. If it's been modded, then it likely is the correct size. See if the stereo will fit in there. Mine is just slid into the hole and it hasn't moved since unless I pull it out.

    It fits in the hole just need to figure out how everyone else that has a single din has them supported in the back and the front

    I used one of the din sleeves, and in the back I mounted a metal bracket to the right hand dash support structure (the metal piece all the lower plastic pieces attach to) then mounted that bracket to the stud sticking out the back of the radio. post # 230 in my build thread shows the metal piece I made to fix my screwed up opening.

    If it's been modded you should have a 7x2 inch hole cut in your dash
    The radio you have should have a cage to slide into that and a blackstrap to support the back of it
