Interesting data I wasn't aware of. Thanks.
Way back in 2004 at the Michigan Camaro Superfest I met a gal Joan from Ontario, Canada that owned & purchased a 1974 Z28 in Canada. I noted that her seat belt interlock was not there except for the orange color plastic base, she said it wasn't federal law in Canada in '74 like in the US. Car was an automatic. Very nice car. 74Z28coupe,auto,Canada5.JPG 74Z28coupe,auto,Canada6.JPG

Do you know how to apply the spoiler decal correctly without cutting it? The compound curve is tricky. Thanks

I don’t believe the seatbelt interlock was required on cars built for the Canadian market in 1974. My car has the wiring under the drivers seat but like the car you described only the orange plastic base under the hood on the left inner fender.

Interesting. Mine is built April 15/74 but has no seat belt interlock relay like described in post #11.

The only US numbers I've seen are posted on this site:
    http://nastyz28.com/camaro/camaro74.html

Even then, it only has total production numbers through April '74. I don't know where one would find the production numbers of May'74 through to August '74.

Very good question, I was wondering about that missing data myself. Guess the hunt continues.
