71 Z28 Engine side of firewall. Two questions - 1. currently has a speed nut type of nut. Is this correct or did it use a regular nut on the studs that come through the firewall. 2. The drawing in the Factory Assembly manual shows that the orange wire to the heater box has a condenser that mounts to the upper lip of the firewall at the cowl for cars with AM/FM. Mine doesn't have one and my 70 SS does not either. Anyone have a car with a condenser spliced into this wire for the heater blower motor?
