Ok, I'll cross ND off the list of retirement places. I live in New Hampshire and we can get snow in April but it's rare and it's at least supposed to hit 60 today. I just don't like extended winter any longer. I must be getting old.
I retired and went to Florida for 6 years. Glad I'm back in upstate NY!

All I can say is those pictures just reinforce why I don`t live up there in the frozen north. I like sun, skin, water skiing, wearing shorts and tank tops 8-9 months of the year, etc.

I was on my roof the following day. And loved every minute of it....and still do! That was 1966.

It's too soon to get many pictures. It snowed all day yesterday and last night, and it still snowing today. The snow is supposed to stop by tomorrow, but the wind is forecast to ramp up then.
I'll just stick close to home and try to get pictures later this week. The forecast says it will stay below 32 degrees for at least a week after the storm so the snow will be available for pictures for at least that week.

I'm always amazed by the genius of the National Weather Service. This is their synopsis of yesterday's weather. How do you get 10" of snow and have only 1" on the ground? You have to spend a lot of time in college to do that.
