    Sadly it sounds like a couple of people died... But it could have been a whole lot worse

    Damn skippy...report said the plane did some barrel rolls and parts of the roof were missing. :eek:

    Edit: All flights in and out of SFO have been cancelled.

    Now we need a total investigation to find out what happened. The pilot did not radio in any warning about a pending problem before the crash, so that means it was something at the last second. The black box should tell a lot here.

    Watching it on the news here.... the information guy for the airport Doug Yakel Doesn't seem to want to confirm much at this point

    Initial reports indicate two fatalities with 60+ injured. Came down too soon.

    I read in one of the reports it hit the leading sea wall and it ripped the tail off sending it cartwheeling.

    Wow...certainly could have been worse with almost 290 passengers.

    possibly first time flying into SFO and unfamiliar with the landing approach , looks like he tagged the sea wall and with that much damage and resulting fire it's a miracle that 289 people survived and with only two fatalities
