Hosta Plant Question

Does anyone grow Hosta plants? Can someone recommend a Hosta variety that will thrive in the morning sun? I was told the white or light yellow varieties can tolerate more sun than the dark green and blue varieties.

We have some out front. They get a few hours of morning Sun and hold up good. These are probably about 15 years old and come up every year. Just snapped this pic...

I rarely see flowers on the ones in my yard due to the herd of four-legged free-loaders living in my area.
Hostas seem to be the equivalent of a salad bar for deer.

They are easy to grow but keep an eye out for slugs. They like to munch on them too.
