Hosta Plant Question

They are tough. I had a big one dug up and sitting on a patio stone for 2 years. Didn’t phase it. Ended up replanting it at my mother in laws. Can’t kill them. I’ve mowed them over. They just pop right back up despite multiple mowings.

Very hardy plants indeed. They grow pretty huge if not left unchecked for a few years. Slpit easily as well. In Connecticut, mine get afternoon-evening sun, and hold up very well.

Overall, seems Alabama's climate / zones is not so unlike South Carolina's.

while attending master gardener classes, I learned of Clemson Univerity's "HGIC" --- a great searchable resource for most all questions re: gardening / horticulture / plants.
HGIC is free of charge and without ads.
