How many horns on 1972 Camaro

Hello fellow enthusiasts,
My 1972 Camaro came without any horns. My question is how horns did it come with? I was talking to a horn restoration company and they said 1972 only had one horn. Is this true? Thanks in advance.

My 71,,, built in Jan,, only has one horn.

70 was the last year for two horns standard. After that there was a U05 dual horn option that was available on certain years.

How many horn leads does your car's wiring harness have? Only the 1970 Camaro came with dual horns, but if you have a new harness such as painless, it will have leads for two horns in which you could add if you wanted.

According to my 72 assembly manual they only came with 1 (low note) horn. hope this helps

I put a set of Cadillac horns on my 70. Sounds like a train coming down the tracks. But I'm pretty sure my car had dual horns, but it is an RS so that might be a factor?

Dual horns were standard in 1970. After that, single horns were installed until the later years when the single was standard, but a second one could be ordered.

FWIW, dual horns is an extra cost option in '74.
